Chung-Yan’s area of expertise is defined benefit retirement programs. He assists corporate, public sector, and multiemployer clients in the area of actuarial valuations, plan administration, financial reporting, and cost and liability projections. He also assists plan sponsors with meeting ERISA requirements for funding and disclosure.
Prior to joining the Portland office, Chung-Yan worked in the Systems and Programming department in the Seattle office of Milliman as an associate actuary. While there, he gained more than 12 years of experience in pension valuation programs, including design, modification, and providing training and hotline support for in-house pension valuation systems. He also worked on pension valuations for retirement programs in the
public sector.
