Reza Vahid
Reza Vahid is a principal and consulting actuary in the New York office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 2014.
Experience
Reza has over 20 years of employee benefits consulting experience and is the lead or co-lead consultant on several Taft-Hartley health & welfare clients. He also provides actuarial and employee benefit support services to corporate, governmental, and not-for-profit employee benefit plans. His experience includes budgeting and cost projections, contribution rate strategy, strategic planning, benefit design, cost control, and performing funding and accounting valuations for other postretirement benefit plans. Reza also assists clients with plan design analysis, collective bargaining negotiations, development of other postretirement benefit valuation assumptions, reserve calculations, and contribution and expense projections.
