Lee has more than 10 years of experience in the actuarial field, including experience with issues relating to qualified defined benefit plans under the requirements of ERISA, the Pension Protection Act of 2006 (PPA), and most recently the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA).
His experience includes involvement in the performance and review of ERISA actuarial funding valuations for single employer defined benefit plans, experience with various accounting standards (GAAP, SSAP, IAS, CAS), assumption setting, consultative funding strategy, and nondiscrimination testing and compliance review, including review and submission of required annual reporting to government agencies.
Lee has experience forecasting and modeling pension liabilities under various economic scenarios (including asset-liability modeling and stochastic projections).
