Yutaro provides actuarial services to multiemployer defined benefit plans. He assists with actuarial valuations, assumption and benefit improvement studies, asset/liability projections, withdrawal liability calculations, the design and preparation of participant benefit statements, certification of individual retirement benefit calculations, and completion of various IRS and PBGC filings. In addition, Yutaro assists in projects such as special financial assistance under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, benefit suspensions under the Multiemployer Pension Reform Act of 2014, and the design and implementation of rehabilitation and funding improvement plans. Yutaro came to Milliman with over eight years of actuarial consulting experience.
